Meet Susan
I specialize in AI Literacy & Operational Automation for forward-thinking Industrial and Commercial Service firms in Pennsylvania, building systems that allow teams to scale without adding headcount. My background combines 15+ years of B2B marketing and event operations with advanced, hands-on technical training in multi-agent workflows. I bring a structured approach to every engagement: understand the bottleneck, map the workflow, and implement a solution that saves time week after week.
A big part of my work starts with education. I’ve led ‘Intro to AI’ and prompting workshops for diverse teams with different levels of readiness, bridging the gap between technical potential and daily operations. I enjoy tailoring training to the real scenarios people face on the job, so participants leave with prompts, templates, and clear next steps they can use immediately. When the fit is right, training naturally evolves into longer-term support, where I help teams identify repeatable tasks that are ideal for automation.
My consulting work tends to focus on operational problems that are painfully manual. For example, I build automations that streamline complex logistics and document generation. I’m especially drawn to situations where the stakes are high and accuracy matters—like USDA compliance checks, insurance claim narratives, or technical specifications—because the value of a reliable process becomes obvious quickly.
Responsible AI use is central to how I operate. The ethics lessons that most shaped my approach were the real-world impact of algorithmic bias in predictive models and the nuanced tradeoffs in image generation, including the “erasure vs. stereotyping” dilemma. In practice, that means I build with two non-negotiables: keeping a qualified human in the loop for validation and using AI to augment people rather than replace them. I’m happiest partnering with clients who want to build capacity, protect quality, and support their team.
Looking ahead, my ideal long-term partners are owner-led, mid-sized industrial service businesses—especially those with lean or one-person marketing/ops teams—that have clear recurring pain points and a strong desire to move quickly. When those ingredients are present, I can deliver systems that keep paying dividends.
Tool-wise, I typically work with Zapier (plus tools like Cassidy and TypingMind), Notion and Google Sheets, leading language models including ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude, Google Forms for intake, and a range of audio/visual tools like Midjourney, ElevenLabs, HeyGen, and Descript.
