Meet Lyndsay
I specialize in AI consulting for mission-driven sexual and reproductive health nonprofits operating in legally volatile, high-surveillance environments like Planned Parenthood and the National Abortion Federation.
My work sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, data governance, and reproductive health. I founded my consultancy, Frame + Forge, to help sexual and reproductive health organizations navigate AI responsibly while protecting the communities they serve. These organizations operate in environments where surveillance risk, misinformation, and legal volatility create real consequences for patients and providers. My role is to help leaders approach AI with strategic clarity, strong governance, and values-driven implementation.
Many of my engagements begin with a focused project and grow into longer partnerships as organizations realize how interconnected these questions are. An AI audit often reveals deeper needs around data governance, board oversight, and organizational readiness. As those conversations evolve, I frequently transition into an ongoing advisory role supporting executive teams and boards as they make decisions about emerging technologies. I also deliver AI literacy trainings designed specifically for sexual and reproductive health organizations. These sessions bring frontline staff, program leaders, and executives into the same conversation so organizations can build a shared understanding of both the risks and opportunities of AI.
Ethics is central to my consulting practice. Through my writing in The Body Is the Interface, I explore how AI systems intersect with reproductive health, surveillance, and justice. My work emphasizes that AI governance is an ongoing practice carried out by people who question outputs, evaluate assumptions, and maintain the authority to pause or redirect technology when necessary. When I audit or advise on AI tools, I look beyond technical performance. I examine whose values shaped the system, who bears the risks when it fails, and whether the organization has the oversight structures required to deploy AI responsibly.
The clients who benefit most from my work come with a clear problem and a willingness to engage deeply with the implications. I have partnered with national membership organizations for abortion providers, regional reproductive health affiliates, and policy focused advocacy organizations. These collaborations have included developing AI governance frameworks, facilitating leadership and staff alignment, building guidance for evaluating AI tools, and advising on the strategic implications of rapidly evolving AI policy and platform risks.
I approach each engagement as a thinking partner who understands both the technology and the movement context. My goal is to help organizations lead with confidence, protect their communities, and ensure that AI systems shaping reproductive health care reflect the values of the people most affected by them.
In my technical work, I frequently use Make.com, Gumloop, and Claude Code for automation. I rely on Airtable and Google Sheets for data and knowledge management. My primary language model is Claude, with occasional use of ChatGPT depending on the task. For user interfaces and intake workflows I often use tools such as Formspree and Google Forms. Audio and visual generation plays a smaller role in my work, though I occasionally use tools like Nano Banana when a project requires it.
