Meet Blake

I specialize in AI consulting for Northern Colorado startups and small businesses that are in the technology and professional services sector that want to bridge company culture and AI implementation into a holistic Kaizen approach.

My approach to AI consulting is all about aligning innovation with culture. I work closely with startups and small businesses that want more than just technical solutions—they’re looking to integrate AI into their operations in a way that complements their values, enhances their workflows, and empowers their teams. My focus is on sustainable, human-centered implementation inspired by continuous improvement models.

One of my most meaningful projects involved supporting a small conservation team working with tribal communities. I built an Airtable-based operations hub infused with automation and AI, which significantly streamlined their work. From there, I deepened my engagement with tribal governments, delivering training on AI Governance, Risk, and Compliance. This led to a consulting role supporting the development of a new tribal AI policy and legal framework—an experience that helped me understand how to integrate modern tools within culturally and politically sensitive environments.

Although I haven’t had a true “rockstar client” yet, I’ve learned to recognize when a partnership may not be the right fit. In one case, the project required extensive groundwork to get the client comfortable with AI tools, turning what looked like a fast win into a slower, educational journey. These experiences have helped shape my consulting style: patient, transparent, and adaptable to the readiness level of each organization.

Ethically, I’m committed to being clear about data privacy boundaries and openly disclose that I’m not a cybersecurity professional. The AI Ethics training emphasized for me the importance of not just acknowledging bias and risk, but also communicating them upfront. My goal is to guide clients responsibly—especially when dealing with sensitive data or vulnerable populations.

I use Zapier and n8n for automation, Airtable for data and UI integration, and Claude or OpenAI for language processing depending on context. For interface tools, I rely on Google Forms, Airtable Forms, and Gamma webpages to keep things clean and simple. On the creative side, I use Descript, ChatGPT, and Gamma to develop visual and audio content that supports training, storytelling, and internal communications.

Ultimately, I aim to demystify AI for mission-driven teams and emerging companies—bridging strategy and execution while making sure the human element is never lost.
