Meet Damon
I help small and mid-sized businesses find where AI fits in their work and where it doesn’t, then deliver the training and custom tools that turn the repetitive parts into systems their teams actually use.
Most of my work starts with a process someone has quietly worked around for years. I look for the tasks a team dislikes doing rather than the jobs a business would like to eliminate. The point is to give people their attention back, not to hollow the company out. Two rules shape every build. Nothing I put in place should push more low-quality content into the world, and there is always a human in the loop to verify claims and add the judgement a model cannot supply.
One client, a design-build remodeling contractor, was handling well over a hundred emails a day, and leads and client messages were getting buried or missed entirely. I built him an AI assistant that sorts his inbox each morning into categories that are actually useful. Things like leads, active clients, subs, and billing. It flags anything suspicious and drafts replies in his own voice. I scoped and priced it as a fixed-price build.
Another, a remodeling contractor, had a sales process that meant working up most of a real estimate just to give a prospect a ballpark number. I built a price book in Airtable from his own job history, then a client-facing estimator app on top of it, so he can give a homeowner a real budget range in the first meeting. The work ran in two phases, starting with the price book and then the app.
The tools I reach for are Zapier and Make for automation; Google Sheets, Airtable, and Supabase for data and storage; Claude as my primary language model, switching to ChatGPT or others when a job calls for it; Google Forms and Airtable interfaces for the front end; and ChatGPT and Nano Banana for image generation.
