Meet Michelle
I specialize in AI consulting for resource-conscious, mission-driven organizations in the Washington, DC–Baltimore region. I partner with organizations that prioritize mission and impact but also need to operate with limited resources. My focus is helping these organizations adopt AI responsibly and strategically through a combination of training/upskilling, strategic planning, governance, buy vs. build tool analysis, and implementation/maintenance.
I deliver keynote addresses and facilitate workshops to help organizations support their staff to responsibly adopt AI. I offer events for mixed audiences (i.e., multiple functions) as well as for specific functions (i.e., fundraising and resource development, operations, human resources, senior organizational leaders). These engagements have ranged in format and budget, with some offered pro bono and others priced according to the organization’s capacity and expectations. I partner with my clients to co-design these events, each being completely custom so they reflect organizational priorities and values while simultaneously enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
Two of my most exciting recent developments are my advisory/governance services to a nonprofit Board of Directors and building custom AI-driven automations that significantly reduce a nonprofit team’s workload while improving task accuracy. These initiatives represent my ability to provide nuanced advisory support as well as technical expertise that generates strong ROI for my clients’ investments.
I am a lean consultancy with a robust partner bench, so I bring the exact skill combination needed for each engagement. I can work within each organization’s existing technology ecosystem if desired (i.e., Microsoft, Google Workspace) and/or recommend tools most appropriate given constraints and preferences. This approach helps me deliver practical, accessible AI applications for clients who need to stretch every dollar while still moving forward with innovation.
