Meet Maria
At MD Business AI, we advise leaders in healthcare, aesthetics, and plastic surgery on implementing AI strategies through strategic advisory, executive education, and ethical, results-driven outcomes.
I built my AI consulting practice as a natural extension of my decade of experience advising aesthetic, plastic surgery, and private healthcare practices across the United States. My work has always centered on relationships, trust, and helping business owners make confident, informed decisions. As AI began transforming how businesses operate, I saw an opportunity to guide my clients through adoption in a way that is thoughtful, practical, and aligned with long-term success.
My approach begins with discovery. I take time to understand how each organization operates, how leaders make decisions, and where inefficiencies or missed opportunities exist. From there, I design strategies that integrate AI into operations, marketing, communication, and overall business workflows. I developed the MD AI Practice Success Assessment to give practices a clear picture of their readiness for AI adoption, evaluating everything from operations to leadership alignment.
I have also expanded my work into education, leading webinars focused on AI adoption in healthcare, aesthetics, and nonprofit organizations. These sessions are designed to make AI accessible and actionable for business leaders who want to move forward with clarity and confidence.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my work has been building long-term partnerships. What began as individual projects, such as a webinar or website development, has evolved into ongoing advisory roles where I help guide AI strategy at a higher level. In one case, this grew into a Chief AI Officer style role, where I support business expansion through AI integration, workflow optimization, and the development of new systems such as AI-supported grant writing.
I am intentional about the clients I work with. My best partnerships are with leaders who are collaborative, decisive, and committed to implementing real change. I value alignment, integrity, and mutual trust, and I am willing to walk away from opportunities that do not reflect those standards.
Ethical AI is a core part of my philosophy. I am especially mindful of how bias can show up in AI systems and impact decision-making. I help clients understand the importance of responsible data use, human oversight, and transparency. I am passionate about ensuring AI is implemented in a way that expands opportunity, especially for underserved and minority-owned businesses.
My toolkit includes platforms like Zapier for automation, Google Sheets for data and planning, and multiple AI models to validate insights and stay current. I also use accessible interface tools to make solutions easy for non-technical clients to adopt.
