Meet Kristina
Two decades in the international superyacht industry – the first as crew, the second in operations, legal, and management – shaped the way Kristina Agustin approaches AI adoption. She brings direct experience of what high-consequence, high-compliance environments demand, and what it takes to make sound decisions inside them.
Kristina is the Founder and Principal Digital Navigator of Southern Sky AI, a digital navigation practice providing calm, structured AI adoption for maritime leaders.
She is a qualified Australian lawyer and a dual Australian and U.S. citizen, with professional ties in both Australia and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Her legal training sharpened her approach to risk, contractual accountability, and decision governance — capabilities that translate directly into how she guides AI adoption with clients.
Her work focuses on helping leadership teams understand AI clearly, establish structured direction before any implementation begins, and move forward at a pace that matches their operational reality. The focus is always clarity first, structure second, and infrastructure only when foundations are in place.
She speaks regularly at maritime industry events on AI adoption and organisational readiness, including the Australian Superyacht Conference, the Australian Commercial Marine Conference (ASMEX), the MARE Forum, and the International Superyacht Society Annual Member Meeting. In 2026 she will moderate the AI and Technology panel at the International Superyacht Society Leadership Series Education Seminar.
