Meet Jake
I work with lean, fast-growing B2B service providers with Midwest roots—typically generating $1M–$20M annually—to automate grunt work, centralize insights, and scale what matters.
The core of my approach is the Automonic Process: centralize data, visualize insights, automate workflows, and amplify systems with AI. This framework allows teams to clear out manual grunt work and double down on what truly drives results.
I specialize in designing and implementing custom operational systems that help consulting firms, startups, and service providers scale efficiently. Leveraging my background in systems engineering, data analysis, and continuous improvement, I partner with growth-stage teams to eliminate bottlenecks, surface key insights, and reduce the manual drag on revenue-generating work.
Clients often come to me when growth is creating friction— scattered data, lack of pipeline visibility, or slow decision-making. My role is to bring structure and clarity through tools like Airtable, Make, and OpenAI, centralizing systems so teams have actionable data and automated workflows.
For example, one of my clients—a high-growth digital marketplace—was losing momentum to scattered tools & lead data and manual processes. I built a unified operating system that centralized revenue & customer data in Airtable, automated sales and inbound tracking, and delivered real-time KPI dashboards across sales, success, and ops. The result was 10x revenue growth in 90 days and a customer success team managing 100+ enterprise clients without adding headcount.
Another client, a creative marketing agency, needed performance reporting they could trust. I rolled out a cross-platform social dashboard that pulled real-time data from Instagram, Facebook, Email, and more into Airtable, with real-time dashboards and auto-generated reports to spur insights – and therefore, action – exponentially faster.
I take AI ethics seriously and help clients adopt AI responsibly, and I’m exploring ways to build source attribution into automations by default, allowing clients to use AI responsibly and credit original creators when appropriate.
My go-to tools include Make for automation, Airtable for structured data and interfaces, and OpenAI’s GPT models (with Claude as backup) for language generation. I leverage Airtable Interfaces and Notion for UI, and use DALL-E for brand visuals, occasionally mixing in Midjourney when needed.
