Meet Alessandro
At Compass AI Consulting we specialize in AI automation for US-based coaches and consultants.
In most growing practices, there’s one capable person quietly holding operations together. Usually it’s the founder. Sometimes it’s a right hand or an operator. Whoever it is, they end up running intake, chasing follow-ups, updating the CRM, and fixing whatever just broke. That’s five to ten hours a week a skilled person should never be spending on manual work.
We know that problem from both sides. Between us, we spent years in strategy and operations consulting at EY and Slalom, studying how Fortune 500 companies actually run, and years engineering AI systems to enterprise standards at Capital One. Over a decade solving operational drag for billion-dollar companies. Compass AI Consulting exists to bring that same rigor to businesses nowhere near that size, without the enterprise price tag or the enterprise overhead.
Coaches and consultants are who we build for, but not the only people we’ve built for. Here’s some of what that looks like.
For a professional services firm whose data could not leave their building, we delivered a self-hosted automation stack that runs entirely on their own servers. Nothing in the cloud, nothing out of their control.
For an enterprise client, we built the system that keeps their employee directory in lockstep with HR, automatically creating, moving, and disabling accounts as people join, change roles, and leave. Built in C# and .NET against on-premises Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), replacing a slow, manual process.
Both started as a single scoped build. Both became long-term relationships.
And we run our own company on the exact systems we sell. Call intake, transcription, CRM updates, follow-ups, error alerts, all of it runs without us touching it. Our rule is simple: if we wouldn’t trust it on our own operations, it doesn’t go anywhere near yours. n8n, Postgres, and Claude are where we start more often than not, and we write real code (Python, JavaScript, C#) when the job genuinely needs it. The rest of the stack changes with the problem. What doesn’t change is that it’s self-hosted where it matters, so you own what we build instead of renting it.
One last thing, because it’s the part we care about most.
AI doesn’t fail like ordinary software. Its mistakes arrive dressed as authority: confident, polished, and wrong. That’s exactly what makes them dangerous, and no test suite catches it. So everything our systems generate passes through a human review queue before it ever reaches the outside world. We built it as an engineering control. We treat it as an ethical one.
That’s who we are. We’d love to give those hours back.
